Yeah I think these are 14's but with a 60 profile to give same tyre circumference. Car should be done end of April then it'll be down in Cornwall and meets will definitely be needed. Just saw a b plate black gti cabby in Falmouth so there's another lurking down here that I didn't know of.
Is this the one with the red roof and the back window not cut out?!!
Yeah I think it was, looked in reasonable condition

So a quick update on the cabby. All rebuilt again after a head skim. Linkages sorted and today it went for its MOT, result, pass with 0 advisories. Although speedo cable broke on the way down to the garage so something else to replace.

Surfboards mainly. The main disadvantage of my design of using the the bits the roof handles clip in and the roll bar means it's strictly a hood down roof rack but then it'll only be used in the sun, or worst case is the surfboard will act as the roof.

Yeah I had guessed the roof wouldn't be going down! Good job though still

Long overdue but thank you for the positive remarks. With summer and idle thumbs however has come some more items for the to do list. Replacing the aerial with a more in keeping retractable one. And a whole bunch of connectors, thick speaker wires and new speakers to replace the old shot original kit. (Pics coming soon) and maybe if I get fidgety a version 2 of the roof rack but this time polished stainless and maybe teak rails.

Wiring overkill!
I replaced my rear speakers with some cheapies off amazon. Still sound OK though.
