Those speakers will sound good, had them fitted to my last 944  

They sound better as the original ones were like listening with 3 people eating crisps :-)

Got the parts now but got lots of overtime on now :-( but the extra cash will get spent on the cars.

Might even get the suspension soon :-)

What a day changing the filler neck and fishing the tank for rust.
All the clips that I removed had to be cut off as they had all worn and getting the tank to neck hose on took me forever.

Great work Chris, glad you got sorted - despite the frustrations it looks like you got a lot done today.

I like those lock pins, where are they from?

Oh and in the first pic, that bottle of oil - that goes in the front of the car in the engine, not the fuel tank!

Boot is full of the parts for its service so just used the can to hold the mat back.

Good to see you getting stuck into the GX.  Nice work on the filler pipe and clean arches, ticking of the jobs real quick now

As I always say all the wee things add up :-)

Powder coated battery clamp to go with my polished bolt.




So the next thing I'm looking at is suspension, I've got a price from funk-star for Bilstein B4's with Eibach lowering springs !!

I know its a good set up but is it the correct set up ?

I've got the powder coated front strut housings and I would get powder coated caps and new top mounts as well. I've already got new stainless rear susp bolts and top mount nuts.

Decisions ????

Just ordered an impact gun and sockets under funks direction, I need to invest in way more tools thru time !!

An impact driver is the tool that everyone should have !!

Be careful using stainless steel bolts on suspension, they are not strong enough usually.
