just brought my first mk1 1983 in mums memory

i.ve just brought a mk1 golf 1983 golf as a project needs some tlc. it came with the proper bbs bodykit  wasn,t to keen at first was gona take the kit off but now within the week its grown on me after seeing pics on the internet of them. i,m so please with the car and wanted one for so long i had a mk2 golf gti but it just wasn,t a mk1.and after my mum passing away with cancer last november its something  i want to do in mums memory as we always use to talk bout a program that showed a whole family had mk1,s. love to here comments and will need advise on the way thank you.

been slow going but hoping with in the next two weeks i can strip engine out and the rest of the interior and work will crack on. manage to sell some stuff to fund  mk1 golf stuff.  manage to pick up some awsome 15inch bbs rx alloys to go on the mk1 now looking for and saving for  some coilovers and polybushes

just brought some 15inch bbs for the bbs kitted golf and given it a quick spray to see how the red looks
