I've got myself some heat reflective material up to 1000c (90% reflection) so hopefully that should do it wrapped around the UJ.

Been busy this month sorting out the space in the garage so I wasn't falling over myself, shifted lots of parts and boarded the roof.
Much better now Fitted my new 100mm output flanges and new drive shafts yesterday
Got the UJ boot wrapped but quite fiddly.
Can actually reach the car now:

Very nice rad and intercooler setup. That must have set you back a few quid.
It certainly did boss , but it will mean I can keep battery under the bonnet and still use my fancy bartek boost return .
Certainly looks well made, the remaining part of the radtec kit (alloy pipes, clips and silicon pipes) comes from Roose Motorsport. Bit surprised that they didn't order this in 3 weeks ago when I placed the order lol

20 minutes with the soda blaster and it looked like new.
After a coat of acid etch primer.

2 hours later we had 1 hose connected lol
We struggled connecting the filler neck breather to the tank in situe.
I have the stainless filler neck from crazyquiffs but the breather lug was a right struggle, we removed the neck and connected that end first and then attempted to connect it to the tank but its pretty tight in place!

Test fitted the radtec intercooler and radiator but unfortunately it fouls the bonnet release catch! I have removed it temporarily but what have other radtec users done to fix this?
The intercooler return to throttle body is also in an interesting position and would hit the battery. To get round this I will mount the battery at 90 degrees. I'm not sure why the pipe is angled towards the battery, I had to check their site out to double check as I thought it was welded on wrong but this is how it's meant to be.
