So we finally found a good base Cabriolet to bring back to life. Doesn't need too much tlc, other than a quick respray, good service, valet and driver seat she's good to go.

Looks tidy, how come it needs a respray? I know photos always flatter but doesn't look that bad? Also is there such a thing as a 'quick' respray???

Sadly one side has had a poor paint job so unless I can machine polish it up it will need pain. No rust or rot luckily so just needs paint

A Mk1 without any rust is a rare thing, I hope that is true….. it is a cabriolet so they are built better than tin tops.  :thumbs:
