Iv got a few more bits to sort out this week then hopefully its MOT time next week.

My wipers and indicators seem to be playing up. The rear wiper arm doesnt always rotate and the fronts only seem to come on at max speed. And the front indicators work fine but both rears flash then you indicate left or right. 

How have I missed this thread. Absolutely awesome mate.

That would be good bud. I think iv managed to strip the spline thread on mine  

it was going to go on freecycle bud, yours if you need it  

Im slowly managing to get the interior back together. Iv got a funny issue with the indicators which is really bugging me. Hoping to get it sorted tonight so I can hopefully take it for an MOT tomorrow.

So my first trip out to Kent VW Festival didnt go quite as planned. Hit a couple of teething issues and managed to give my sump a good beating, resulting in this:

 

 

 

 

The 'teething issues' forced me to pull over a couple of times on route to the show which at least allowed time for a couple of photos:

any more pictures/progress?, love this car, the colour is perfect, never before thought about dark grey mk1s. The wheels look spot on too!
