83 diesel more door

Picked this one up a few weeks ago. Not done much so far other than break it!

It needs some work on the rear corners the back brakes and wheel bearings are shot and I've snapped the bolt that hold the throttle lever on to the diesel pump other than that all is well.

Will keep this updated as and when I do bits and pieces to it.

Royal Mail being their usual useless selves. Paid £4.95 on brick werks for 1st class signed for postage lunch time Friday, thinking the seals would arrive sat or mon for that price. Clearly I was expecting too much for my money. Still waiting today and am out for the rest of the week so going to miss my delivery…..

Still bloody waiting, listened to Royal Mail phone robot and aprantly first class signed for small parcels take up to 15 days. Don't mention that when it says "usually" next working day and charge a fortune though.

Getting silly now, wish I'd just gone for the cheap eBay sellers. Brickwerks stance is that they have no control over Royal Mail price or delivery time. Amazes me how a company can use a service that doesn't deliver. I won't be using them again.

Brick werks sent a replacement part Friday and it came yesterday. Can finally fe on with this now. Got quite a bit of time on my hands at the moment too so will hopefully get some bits done on it over the coming weeks.

It lives! Running a touch smokey at the moment. Not sure if its something I've done or just where it's been sat a few weeks. Need to get the back brakes sorted next.

Diesel pump has had a tweak and the cracked exhaust has been welded up this week. It's now running beautifully.
Going to order a rebuild kit for the back brakes/wheel bearings etc this week. That will be the mechanical side of things sorted then it will be on with the metal work at the back.
