Is it? Mine is that way around, with the holes for the discs front and back, rather than left and right

Bit of an update from this week so far.

The week started off by finishing the spare wheel well, primed and sealed it along with the rest of the boot floor etc.

Then bared the metal on the inside and applied etch primer

I then got to work on stripping the bay

Sealed up the wheel well and added the discs

Moved back to the bay and etch primed the lot then sealed

This morning started off fitting steering rack and front suspension.

Next was to drop the car back on it's wheel so I can fit the new rear panel, so goodbye to the roll over jig(for now) :)

And this is how I left her tonight, back on her wheels minus the rear panel

boot floor lip in great shape, was surprised it wasn't rotten tbh.

I'll be back down in the morning to fit the new panel, once it's fitted, she'll be going back on the jig to finish the epoxy mastic. The reason I didn't epoxy first was because I don't wan't any breaks in the paint, wan't it all done in 1 go.

A major step forward Andy! Nice to see it on wheels 8-)

Did you put the wheel well discs in just with the sealer as opposed to welding?

My spare wheel well hasn't got a threaded stud/bolt for a wheel clamp, did they all come with this?

Well it's still not fitted :ocf_emoticons__BangHead: got tied with other things this afternoon :dry:Anyway, I removed the rest of the old rear panel..

and noticed that it was originally brazed around the top corners.. I'm just wondering whether to braze it like the original or just weld it? thoughts anyone?

It's now tacked in place ready for tomorrow's shinnanigans :ninja:

Nice one Andy   Unless you don't want to be marked down in a concours judging I'd say weld it ;)
