Mud Flaps?

Take a look at my white Cabrio, it's screaming fit some original mud flaps!

Would really like a full set but would settle for fronts.
With the white embossed VW logo preffered.
Just embossed would also be ok.
But I would entertain a set without logo.

I'm hoping to embark on a 3,000 Km roadtrip this summer and without them the lower bodywork will look like it's been shot with a 12 bore.  

More than half the Mk1's have been turned into spare parts, so the must be some somewhere?

Should just mention that mine is a 1990 so they have to fit the big bumper model.

So where are they?
  

Mean't to put this in 'Parts Wanted' but my fingers are to big for the tiny screen!

'Flap, flap', it's a bit like a 'Bump' but smaller!

Still in the hunt for a set of mud flaps good people.
Would even consider a set from a Mk2 if they are nice.
Set of four preferred of course!
 

Just out of interest and yes maybe scrapping the bottom of the barrel but has anyone tried fitting a set of Mk3 mud flaps to a big bumper model?

If the answer is no, then I'm still in the market for a set!

I think they are for Golf/Jetta circa mid 80's or before.
They are new NOS but that doesn't answer the question!  

They look like Mk4 Golf flaps matey

R ok, but I remember a little (but I am soon to be 50) that we sold Mud Flaps similar to those.

Maybe (I think) they were for the Mk2's, which I've heard (on the club website) can be modified for the big bumper model.  

If I do buy them and they don't fit, then I will offer them to the Club, at cost price.  

You could give these a try? Pretty well priced!

Thanks for finding these for me!  
But to be honest I'm not sure if they can be adapted in fit my big bumper model.    

If I'm not very careful I could end up  with 3 or 4 sets and none of them fitting my body kit!  

The first set look pretty good though!

No worries The guy has a lot of sets for sale but unfortunately none specifically for a Golf.  there are these for a Jetta though;

But no logos on em They fit simply by riveting or clamping them to the wheel arch trailing edge so in theory you should be able to make any of these sets fit your cabrio I'm really frustrated because I have two drivers side VW logo moulded flaps and no passenger side ones  Useless!
