Hi folks having issues with warm starting on my 1990 1.8v gti cabriolet. Im after a fuel accumulator asap, cant afford the £150+ price tag for a new one!!
If anyone has one in good working order please drop me a line, or alternatively if anyone knows where i can source a new one for a reasonable price I would be very grateful. Not sure of the part number on mine but i belive a mk2 one is also interchangable? according to the info I have found part number looks like it may be
447 133 441?
Many thanks matt 07772743814 or mjgwatkin@hotmail.co.uk

To all who have been following my post the problem has now been solved!!
I removed the fuel pump and tested the non return valve on the pump and found it to be faulty ie allowing the fuel to drain back thus causing vapour lock when warm starting. I have also changed the accumulator (many thanks to melteddrummer) for supplying me with one!
it now starts on the button every time so well happy.
Thanks again to everyone on here for all there advice once again.
