Picked up the mk1 last night

Hi

After a few weeks of looking for the right Mk1 Gti I finally found a white one on ebay its an 83 standard gti in White. 3 owners from new. got some cash to spend on it first so hopefully get some quotes on a full metal respray and then working out which would be the best engine to stick in her, I think the 1.8t is the one for me but has any one got any suggestions??
