i should be able to make it next sunday, so put me down for one of the final places please, will not be sprinting or showing as i will be in my daily driver ( cabby gti ) but will give her a wash an shine before coming up  :wink:

i meant that if there is a show n shine competition, i will not be entering and as i am coming up in my daily driver, which is the only car i have on the road at the mo, i will not be killing it on the sprints. hopefully come the summer my project gti will be finished and yeah i will be showing and sprinting that one

My car's been to weight watchers today:



No front/rear bumpers, spare wheel or passenger seat, should save a bit of weight.

well miy car has shed some weight think my clutch has gone not sure where but gone  

Hey there, I will not be in the show un shine or on the track  :?  I just wanted to be a part of the mk1 team as its my first time on the club stand 8O! I will be driving my Black 83 GTI daily driver up there on the day Hope to get there around 930ish Hope thats ok? Cheers

im afarid im going to have to bail out of this one need to do some more work on te car plus ive  just got a new hood so money a litttle thin on the ground :cry:

Please do not worry about your cars condition, Its all about the collection of cars that form the club, rather than show cars only. However we do expect you to put a little effort into presentation !!!

When you get to the Pod say to the marshalls you are in club displays, Mk1 golf owners club. then when you get close please look for the club flag.

Try and find either me Ant silver mk1 A207 amk or Paul black mk1 tjf 611x

well im a bit gutted tbh but there you go may have to do somthing special to the car for the next pod day

8am is a bit early to be honest Sam, dont think I've got there any earlier than 8.45am - 9.00am before and even then it's early for the show, but at least you dont get caught in traffic  :wink: .
