THE CHOLMONDELEY PAGEANT
OF POWER
SATURDAY 17TH AND SUNDAY 18TH JULY 2010
AN INVITATION
The Cholmondeley Pageant of Power was a huge success again this year and the
feedback from all those involved has been terrific. You can see some of the
highlights on our website Pageant of Power
We would like to invite your club to attend at this year's event. Car clubs will have a
new trackside location on the "Polo Straight" next to the most demanding part of the
circuit, "The Chicane". This year, you will also have an opportunity to display your
most "eye-catching" club cars on our Concours d' Elegance on the Cricket Pitch. If
you would like any special cars to be considered by the select committee, please
complete the form attached.
BOOKING DETAILS
Your club will be allocated a pitch, the size of which will depend on your numbers,
with lavatory and catering facilities nearby. Pitches will be on the trackside and direct
frontage for your club will be secured on a first come first served basis.
The pitch is free, with 10 complimentary Paddock Enclosure tickets per day. There
will be no restriction on the numbers of club members and their families that can
attend with their cars and after the 10 complimentaries, tickets will be available at the
discounted rate of £15.00 per person per day (normal price £25.00), the details of
which are set out below.
We would hope that most vehicles are in place on the Friday night. For vehicles
arriving on the day the car park is open from 7.00am and the gates open at 8.00am
and we strongly recommend you arrive in good time. On receipt of your confirmed
booking, I will issue you with 10 Paddock Enclosure tickets together with a code for
you to pass to your club members to enable them to purchase as many discounted
tickets as they wish. However, please note that club secretaries (or their
representatives) will have to ensure that only club vehicles park within the car club
area.
Paddock Tickets are offered to your club at the discounted rate of £30.00 for the
weekend or £15.00 per day for the exclusive Paddock Enclosure (normal price £50
and £25). Children are free if booked in advance.
CHOLMONDELEY FIREWORKS TATTOO
Again we have the excitement of the annual Concert being held on the Saturday night.
This is a "Last night of the Proms" style evening with a military theme performed by
military bands and the Manchester Camerata Orchestra. For more details please go to
the website.
Bring a picnic and chairs to enjoy this wonderful evening below the Castle. We do
hope you will be able to join us; the price list and booking form is attached. Further
details will be published on the website soon.
CAMPING
Camping is available within the estate grounds at £20.00 per caravan and £15.00 for a
tent per night. The Friday night camping on 16th July, will be free of charge. Lavatory
and shower facilities are close by.

As a sidebar (bit of a newb question), does your car have to be show standard to get on a stand at a show?
