The entry is ?13 PER CAR and the cashback is ?5 PER MEMBER. So if you have 3 members in one car, you will make a net profit of ?2.

So do we have an answer if the second car is on a trailer or not???

If i have to pay ?13, plus ?60 to hire trailer, plus extra in petrol from towing, then I'll be leaving the MK1 at home

I may have missed this, but is there going to be a 'daily drivers' section for us to show Golfs that aren't necessarily shiny minters like the show and shine section ones - or should I just park in my region section…even though I don't really have one   ?

My golf isn't anywhere near mint mate, it's not bad at all, but it did 10k last year, I wouldn't worry, I would have thought it's more about appreciation than a competition?

Good Evening All  :D

Answers to some further questions:

Have also updated page 1 of the thread so all will see.

* Billing rates for camping are ?13 per night, so anyone who comes down/up on the Friday night will be charged an additional ?13 per car. (effectively the 'show' with one night's camping costs ?13). Still a pretty cheap ?26 for 2 nights camping and the show. Sorry if any of this was unclear.

* Anyone towing a Mk1/vehicle will not be charged for the additional vehicle - HOWEVER if the towed vehicle exits and reenters Billing on its own steam, you will probably get charged again, as it will not have the original 'pass' issued by Billing. (The camper/motorhome pass is different to a car pass).

* If you decide to prebook, please mention you are with the Mk1 OC Rally to get the special rate of ?13 per night.

* Electric hook up at Rally rate is ?17 per night.

Would you recommend pre booking or will it be ok just to turn up on the Friday night and pay on the way in

This year, it will be fine to turn up and pay on the night. The reason for trying to get peeps to pre book is that the club and site get an idea of numbers… doesn't cost you any different to get in…. it just means your vehicle passes will be waiting for you on the gate.

However, next year they want us to get as many pre bookings to get a discounted rate for the club/attendees, otherwise you could be charged full rate. It's their way of making it viable to hire out the 'field' for nothing and monitoring the people attending the rally, otherwise any tom, rick or harry could say they are with the club as it is publicised on their website/literature.

Hope this helps. Don't forget to complete the poll on the other show thread so we know how peeps to expect  :D
