would a 1.4 tdi lupo/polo engine fit in a mk1

i have a lupo and i like the power delivery of it.

looking for a conversion into a mk1. how hard would this be to put into a mk1 golf. as these engines are awesome mpg and can be tuned nicely

what would i need other than engine, ecu, gearbox, wiring etc.

what engine mounts would i need, and would i need custom driveshafts.

has this ever been done before
