Will I wrap my Cast ABF Manifold?
I am now on my second exhaust manifold in my 2.0L 16v conversion. Car hasn't left the garage and the cast mani has cracked. To be clear i am useing the original mk3 gti manifold mated to the mk1 downpipe. This in it's self works fine but I was wondering if I could heat wrap the whole thing before I put it on the car?

Be easier to wrap of than on, dont know which cast manifold you have, but every abf manifold i have had has been cracked, so i have replaced with the kr manifold which is very similiar but dosnt appear to crack.

dont bother, the manifodl would still crack. all mk2 and mk3 16v manifolds are prone to cracking, but they dont leak so its not a problem!
