Which radiator

Hi , im tidying up the engine bay in my GTI cabriolet and wanted to know whats the best rad to use to enable me to loose the header tank ???

You'll need to modify or replace the metal water pipe too; but older style GTI rads with a reservoir do exist.

Moding the pipe dont sound hard , just weld up the outlet to the header ??


What are we talking then , early gti radiator ??

They do a few different top fill rads. Basically theres 2 sizes and are each available with the hose connections at either end.
