what grille looks best?

My 83 GTi has the twin headlamp set up at the front at present.
Whats your views on what grill looks best on the front………The twin headlamp set up or the original single set up :dontknow:

I have the single set up on mine and feel it gives the car a wider,squatter stance. But then again I often look at twin headlight griles on MK1's and think they look more sporting. Either one looks good really. How about having a single for the summer months and twin for the dark winter ones ?

Don't go for a badgeless aftermarket one either - these are my least favourite!

Dare i say this ops:
iIhave the golf as my winter car and only gets used during the dark months.
The rest of the summer time i use my Corrado
But before people want to linch me, the golf is still a minter and is very carefully looked after.
I like the advantage of having the spots during the winter months but i do plan on putting crosshairs in a single grill if i do decide to put one in :mrgreen:

I'd say single as well mate, there is something about it that just looks better!!

I've got to get a badgeless one for mine though as now I have got a new front panel (later cabriolet) on my tin top, I can't get the single lamp grille to fit.  I don't really fancy having to mod my new front panel just to get the grille to fit.

The JOM grilles look quite good on the right car IMO

double tbh.  

The 3 slat single lamp grills look hideous.  The better quality 5 slat ones can look good on the right car, like later cabs…
