Scirocco Top Fill Radiator

I can't seem to find the post but I'm sure someone posted about using a top fill rad from an early Scirocco and a slimline aftermarket fan.
I rang GSF this morning and they don't do the early rad any more, shame cause I fancied using this on my mk1 16v.

Just thought anybody else who was interested, it will save them calling GSF now

I still have a few of these early rads, they are used but all good, think most have been recored, if its of any use  :wink:

if any does want one of these second hand is the only way i'm affraid. The series one also uses this rad and when I had to replace mine a few years ago I couldn't get one (even from vag) or get mine recored. the replacement one I got from express radiators was rubbish and looked very poor quailty. I have since changed it to a second hand unit from another car and it works better than the new one 8O
