Relocating numberplate

Basically I wouldnt mind taking the number plate off the front supports totally and maybe putting it on the front splitter or area under the bumber.

Obviously ill have two holes in the bumber though!

Just thought it would smooth up the front are a bit.

Any ideas guys? :dontknow:

nah don't do it, I've got mine on the front splitter and I don't like it, wish I hadn't done it and will put it back to pretty much origional at some point!
what I plan to do though is modify the origional bracket to move it back a bit, seen it before and its subtle but I think its just right 8)

just for your info if you do take the origional bracket off you don't really see the holes as they're underneath

heres a couple of pics of mine for reference:

Personaly i dont see the point, why would you move the number plate and leave two massive holes! only do it if you are goiing to fill the holes somehow, this would probably require painting the bumper, or possibly just the top and bttom of the bumper.

Nice!! Something a lot like that, after seeing the pics I think the Splitter one is not as good as the below the bumber area, looks a lot better IMO.

Great pics guys thanks :D

or, using the standard bracket, modify it to sit further back, still using the origonal mounting points?

I made my own brackets to fit the chrome bumper.
Was originally going to offset it to the left of the car - Glad I didn't though…
