Rear Wiper position

The MK1 I have just bought has the rear wiper laying horizontal across the rear screen. How do I convert it back to original. Has the motor been changed or modified?

Your Haynes manual has a good 'How To' article . Its hard to describe the set up and much better if you read it your self  


Cheers………….

Make sure the motor is in it's "Parked" position.
Undo the nut and remove arm from motor spindle.
Turn through 180degrees(or until wiper is in corerect position) replace arm and nut!

Simple!
