mk2 dash in a mk1 cabby
Right people needing a bit of advice i have managed to get hold of a mint dash with all bits! from a mk2 with 50k on the clock.
how hard is it to transplant the mk2 dash into the mk1.
am not talking about wiring , just the physical fitting.
(and incase anyone is wondering why i want to do this. my cabby dash is pumped)
Thanks
C.
Oh and has any one got any pictures of a mk1 with this done?

mk2 dash is wider and deeper. the shape round the window is different. the air system is different. the wheel position is different.
it's possible but alot of work and you would most likely end up having to recover it aswell to cover the joins. at which point you might as well cover the existing one back to looking like new.
