Mk1 20vt conversion

Hi all I can finally get back onto my project after house purchase slowing things down! Right fitting 1.8t with o2j gearbox got the brackets and mounts but the rubber bushes are not pressed into the mounts and holes are offset. What position should they be? As I have seen few posts not being able to shut the bonnets properly due to the engine is to high.

Have a read of THIS mate. Seems it the type of mount.

Cheers for that but that doesn't say where the hole should be (top or bottom of the mount). I only need to know the gearbox side as the belt side has come done

hole more towards the bottom.
