mk 1 seats

help me help me!!!!!!!!!
Could anyone tell me what seats will fit in a mk1 from any other model golf and what mod is needed to fit them. I would like to cjange front and rear but not the cards.

I do most things but not the wifes knickers.  

Corrado fronts drop in straight, backs need a bit of fiddling and I think most end up making some sort of covered spacer to cover the gap width wise that fitting the rear seats create.

If your willing to do a few mods then pretty much anything you want can be made to fit, I have mk3 colour concept seats in the front of mine, cut'n'weld job to mod them to fit (done by previous seat owner).

mk2 golf seats fit in but if yours is an early mk1 then you need to swap the side of the adjustment handle maybe polo seats or i think toledo seats fit in hope it helps not to sure about the backs as i ripped them out for my roll cage  :twisted:

Yup and they sit nice'n'low too.

If you want to get some mk3 fronts in if you can weld or have a mate who can it should be fairly simple.

Are you asking if a Corrado door card will fit a Mk1?… If so then no.
