Hi quick question On engine mounts please
Hi as above. Iv resently bought a mk1 cabby and I'm thinking of doing an engine swap as the original engine is already out and in bits so if I'm going to build one I may aswell build a better one right lol. Been considering all different engines. But I'm thinking of a 16v now either kr or 9a /6a. As I think the original chassis engine mounts will still be in the right place already is this correct ? It was originally a big block 1.8. 8v gti
Thanks in advance
Arnie.

new mount on the engine itself will need to be changed for the G60, the chassis mounts don't need to be moved, if its a large block car

Ok that's good means I can paint up te bay without worrying about messing it back up by welding new mounts in. Thanks
