From 1.6 to 2.0 8v what I need

if it wont run with the throttle pressed down it could be either immobiliser or crank sensor, this is exactly what happened on my ABF when I had a faulty (new!) crank sensor

My rev counter doesn't work :lol: but i know that i need to  connect the coil with a cable?

What cable is? The green and? I can't rembember, a friend says me what is but i forgot LOL.

did you convert your car to use the mk1 coil, or are you still using mk3? also i assume mk1 clocks yes?

ok, 2 options:
1. open mk3 coil, run wire from -ve terminal inside to fusebox pin g1/12 (cut the old wire)

2. bin the mk3 coil, chop the plug off. crimp a spade to the black wire, bin the brown wire. pull the green/red wire back towards the ecu.

next find the TCI plug on your old wiring loom, its the 7 pin thing in the scuttle. fit it to the mk3 engine bay the same way it was before, but splice the green/red mk3 wire to the tci unit pin 7. bin the other 2 wires from the tci plug that used to go to the distributor. run a wire from the coil -ve to g1/12

fit mk1 tci and late mk1 or mk2 coil (check the plug lead connection compared to the mk3 coil) job done :)

I prefer option 2, as the mk3 coils are unreliable. but you could leave it for now and convert it later

On street the car works better but when i don't run, again throttle down.  :P

I'm so frustrating, the idle is so irregular then i can't drive in the traffic.

First or second gear, undertorque (sorry Google translate suggest me this i hope it's right) and try to start or get more accelerator, the car litteraly jump and tug!! It's like a crazy horse!!  :P

How I check to understand what the hell is wrong?

Probably the cables from the gizzy to the candles are out…

Sometimes i can listen a noise like 'tictictictic' from one or more cables! Maybe that's the problem!  :P

well worth buying new ones aye, get dizzy cap, arm and spark plugs as well while you're there

Dizzy and cap are new, only candles cable (i really dunno who translate LOL sorry) are old (the old engine  :$ )

In this photo i circle a pipe that i close, BUT i look at etka and it goes to a CHARCOAL CONTAINER.

That's absoluly essential?

cant see pic? but the carbon canister and evap valve are not required for the car to run, but they may be required by emmissions laws in your country? however if your mk1 didnt already have one then you wont need to fit the mk3 one :)

cool just bin it then no need for it. cap off any vacuum lines to the throttle body and you're done :)
