any tips on modifying mk2 wiper motor to fit mk1 golf

my mk1 motor is really slow and wipers park in middle of screen if any1 can tell me how to modify the mk2 motor ive got id appreciate it thanks :banghead:

from memory it bolts on, just need to change the wiring as it uses a different plug.

yeah it bolts on, tho at a slightly different angle.
use 6inch off the mk2 loom and join the mk1 loom to it, the wires are colour coded and match up,

really makes a difference too

thanx every1 4 ur tips but ive still got the wipers parking too high even tho the sweep is correct.any suggestions?

set the wipers b4 you attach them to the motor  iirc!
