Alternator - Is there a high rated one available
Anybody know if there's an alternative alternator that can be fitted to a '89 cabby? Something thats rated 75 or 100A??

Some of the Audi,s have high rated Alternaters,the fitting is pritty much the same on the eight valve engines.The Audi,s had more to deal with in the fact that some models had electric seats ,mirrors etc.
Best thing to do is go to your local scrappy and sus it out.

90A are readily available and bolt right on. Some Mk2 Golfs have them.
