16v Mk1

Please can anyone who has got this conversion please have a look and tell me wiring colours you have on your sensor plugs. or anyone who knows original mk1 wiring colours please help us, with the wiring I've got left on my mk1 loom.

16v Sensors what wiring colours you got on yours:
Front and rear of oil filter head (I think one is pressure (high or low?)and one temp) It does say in Haynes but haven't got mk2 manual can't find it!!!! :banghead:
Water temp senders on side of block x2 (upper and lower on side nearest rad before water hose)
Rear of head sensor (believe to be oil temp sender)

Mk1 original colours left.
Blue/Black
Green/Black (think it's oil Sensor of some kind)
Yellow/Red (think Water Temp for MFA?)
Yellow
Brown/White (think oil don't know if it's pressure(high or low) or temp)

Hope someone can help trying to get all gauges working again so I can see whats going on! If anyone wants pics of what sensors I'm talking about please email me at stevey.j80@btopenworld.com

Thanks Steve

Right the two pressure senders on the front of the head, (High and Low)

1xBlack Oil Pressure Sender, single spade, Yellow Wire

1xWhite Oil Pressure Sender, Single spade, Blue/Blk wire

Side of Head:

1xTemp Sender, Single Spade Connector: Blue/White to 16v K-Jet ECU.

1xTemp sender, Single Spade Connector: Green/Black to Std Mk1 engine loom, Coolant temp on dash.

1XThermoswitch: 2pin Connector Block, 2 Pin Mulitplug to std mk1 engine loom. This one I def need to check as I replaced the connector block on mine so colours dont match up with std loom.

Rear Of Head:

1xTemp sender, single spade connector, Red/ylw wire, I took tons of pics but that wire is damaged it the picture, i'm pretty sure.

The Brown and white I think just goes to Earth on top of head next to dizzy…

AS I said in my PM, i'll check tomorrow just to be sure, worked them out from some of my conversion images, some of which aren't 'totally' in focus  :)

Checked and had them right.  The single spade temp senders I dont think it matters which was round they are really.  Strictly I think theres a reason for the locations, closeness to oil or coolant ways in the head etc.

The only place I have a brown wire is going into the Dizzy multiplug, from the Mk2 K-Jet ECU.  but I have found a rndom picture I took of a brown/white wire going to earth on head as I said.  Maybe it doesnt matter!

Thats what I have anyway, running Mk1 GTI engine loom with mk2 K-jet ECU and Mk1 GTI Air Aux system.  Don't know if people running ISVs need another sender on side of head…
