The key is programable,to the box,not the ecu,so you need any from a mk3 box, key ring and key,vw want around the £100 to reprogram a key,
it sounds like the pin 61 could be by passed,but not sure i would :dontknow:

The GTI driver backed off - the clue is in the background, its a public road. Whether the GTD driver is giving it 100% is debatable too. Only tits race on public roads!!!!!

i dont see the big deal, im putting a 1z in my citi and the ony isue so far is the lack of chip in the key - means i need a remap to make it run ;) kill two birds with one stone

im trying to document the conversion thouroughly (excuse my spelling)  so hopefully if im succesfull there will be a "how to tdi" on here  :)
The aaz DOES NOT have a ECU :dontknow:

My point is that as i have  said before the immobilser is plugged to the loom not the ecu :dontknow:
