When you have no idea what any of the adverts on tv are all about … you just keep looking off into the distance waiting to see if a MK1 is hiding in the background and then jump up and down on the settee like a flea on steroids when you spot one  :D

BTW I?have driven MK1 for ages that the fast finger movement (to wind the window down just before the passenger shut his/her door) has become a sort of automatism. 10 years after my last 3 doors Mk1 (the cabrio does not suffer from this symptom) sometimes I still try to reach the crank, even if the car I am driving has electric windows.

sorry mate, just had a look, quick glance could be a MK1, but its not, just watched a few times and paused it, I'm sure its an old Yugo, think the model was a 45..

Its not a Golf - the proportions are wrong, the hatchback doesn't slope enough, it has square headlamps and the bonnet vent is different. I think its a Yugo too, possibly a Fiat Panda.
