That would be great Foxyjay.

Pete, I'm loving the front spoiler and the attention it received.

Current MK1 rebuild elapsed time - 15 years and counting…
Is it normal to clean and paint bits of your car that will never be seen?
Not-so-new addition - 1996 MK1 Citi Golf (off the road for 4 years… and counting)

Get the waxoil underneath
Looking nice, shiny new parts, yummy.
I was considering doing the decal on on the boot of mine.
Looks good, where did you get it?
how was fitting once glass removed and does it fit perfect to the curves of the boot?
I have seen a few on ebay, but with my wiper on opposite side i need to know if there isn't a pre-made hole so i cut my own.
Are you not fitting your rear wiper or your model not have one?
Not getting much me and afrikcaan time (Yes, She has a name lol)  from about 4 month back as i cycle alot now, leaving her 6 days of a week, doing approx 20 weekly now :(
But OH is it nice to get back in even thou for an hour :)

Didn't see this thread, apologies for starting a new topic.

I'm looking for a (preferably) new dash (2005+)Citi Golf to buy in the UK/ROI. Does anyone know of one going, or anyone who is looking to part with one?

Regards

Hi mate, have you not got the south african vw wallet with the car? as far as i know all old skool dubs from south africa had the same paint codes as here. also the plate in the engine bay should have the paint code on it. it was on my citi.

No Jon, haven't got that wallet unfortunately.
The plate on the slam panel says "001" and that means zip to me or my painter dude.
He says if it's a 1994 car, the colour can be Candy white and I believe that's what colour he's painted it.
