Pics of Mk1s with aircooled style sun visors?

Hi all,

I have had a quick search but couldn't find any.

May be a bit controversial, aircooled styling on a mk1?

Does anybody have any pictures of mk1s with external sun visors?

Cheers,

Swiss

That picture above reminded me of this car, used to be owned by 'Graybum'.

I know we like different styles and good job to or we would all be driving identical cars but that is so wrong, if you want a beetle buy one dont try and turn a golf into one.  sorry,

Word to that.

Imo, they look rubbish on beetles too.  :?

I do like the red car, just not with the sun visor. Reminds me of the hats old women wear whilst playing golf!

Are these Beetle ones then? Any of these fit without drilling A pillars?

Most of those mods/accessories are of the period so are original mid 70's bits from when the Golf was a relatively new car. I guess a lot of the original aircooled/beetle accessories will have been replicated for the new Golf platform back then.

It's just that it's 'scene' now and some how looks tasteless. Less is definitely more, no matter what style you go for!
