New member Value Question

Well good luck to him. Think of a number and double it, twice. I wished they were worth that I could almost buy a new Golf if I sold both of mine

The pic of the engine bay has disappeared. It had a rad with the filler cap at the battery side? And the battery was at a jaunty angle.

You don't get many red parcel shelves and look what someones done to it  :banghead:

1983 Mars Red 1.8 Golf GTI
1987 Alpine White 1.8 Clipper Cabriolet

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

Thats it, only on classified advert with a micky taking price untill the paperwork turns up and its had a cambelt change / prep for sale (battery is odd as its not bolted in in that pic) rad is 100% original has vw sticker on it!

seat fabric clips are broken on the base so it looks loose and yes the owner opted for a Pioneer radio upgrade from the dealers that puts 2 speakers in the shelf not original but very retro!

Worrying thing is we have someone from germany planing on "poping" over to see it in the week from that advert

Found a ash tray full of old 5p and 10p coins together with a bank statement from 1984

Will be on a 99p auction by wed

Anyone know what it made in the end?

Both the classified ad @£8,000 and the auction (was @£1,400 last time I saw it) have been deleted from ebay :dontknow:

1983 Mars Red 1.8 Golf GTI
1987 Alpine White 1.8 Clipper Cabriolet

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

It ended on auction @ £3600 but as normal with e-bay the winner was a Dreamer who could not afford to pay, now back on again for £3995 ono, shame these Twats that bid spoil it for genuine buyers
