i had a quote for my old fiesta about a year ago and an external only job was about ?800. im guessing that a full respray (engine bay boot etc) would be about twice that.

Normally looking at about ?600 - ?1000 for a golf sized car.. if your looking for a good job that is! I paid ?650 for mk2 golf a while back which was quite a good job really.

If you want to change the colour and get the boot/engine bay done etc then as the previous post says you could be looking at as much as ?1500 as its quite a bit more work.

If you do find a bodyshop try and see samples of previous jobs they've done.  Also if you have quotes from several places, its not necessarily a good idea to go for the cheapest one.

I've been quoted by two different places in Donny for full strip out and respray. Anywhere from ?1500 and ?1800, dependant on what laquers they use. Not too bad I suppose cuz its a massive job, gonna take about 3 weeks. Will be walkin for a bit then :wink: .
