You can get them from just caddys forum but think they probably.bit cheaper than cq but u cud easily do ur own, take a look at my build thread on the last page I think I had an engineer drill a few holes in a piece of angle iron then weld it to the steering column at the desired angle, but the problem ull find with doing it itself is u.might not have enough room for the heater blower pipe

Hope that helps :)

Cheers dan

Have you tried here on the ClubGti website?

I haven't got one myself but they look pretty good, although a couple of people have had problems fitting them.  Might be worth a read?

If you need any advice on them then I can help as I designed the one that HRP manufactures. Crazy Quiff's are just a rip off of my design.

My design is a development of the Autocavan pedal box originally designed in the 1980's. Historic Racecar Preperations are effectivly the same company that produced them then for Autocavan. I worked there when they still made them for Autocavan and then redesigned them when JTM Racing became HRP..

As for people having problems fitting them, its always come down to them not being fitted correctly or expecting too much from 30 year old bodyshells :) At my last count I've fitted 16 myself and never had a problem. :)

I have fitten an Autocavan one and it fitted perfectly.  I obviously had to take my steering column from my old set up but it fitted into the Autocavan one as if it was factory.  I have the twin bias pedal box and hydraulic clutch.  It was all very simple and I had it done literally in 2 hours.
I would see if you can find one of those.

I can vouch for the quality of these ones, perfect fit, no flex - top notch piece of kit !!

Go through addicted - not sure if he is still having them made though - there is a group buy sometimes on Club GTI. If not, he might do a one off - but the price is more.

I don't think Kim is a member of this forum, he's probably confusing this forum with club GTI..
