anyone watch britains worst storm?

was watching it on tv tonight, and they were doin some reconstruction of that storm in 1987 ( i cant remember it, i was only 2)…this copper was sayin he saw a car moving across the road bein pushed by the wind…..and what car was used in the reconstruction????? anyone else see it?  

Didnt watch it on tv, but i do remember it!! slept through all the noise then got up as normal and walked to school  only coz i had a whole day of sports!! school was shut though funnily :roll:  and nearly every massive tree in the park i lived near was flat!! just spent the whole day with my mates at someones house, broke out the lino square :wink:  and busted a few moves in my adidas ivan lendl trainers whilst listening to "woodpeckers from space" and other breakdance music of the day!!!!!

put a thread on tv and mag section of the site about this earlier.

Ya  mate,i saw it,the white mk1 cab!!  I pointed it out to my mates as it happened-BUT did anyone spot the top Kirk was wearing on Coronation St the other night as he left the house with Chesney?

I seen it as well, nice  Mk 1 being blown down the road. I have to say I embarrassed myself again, I got very excited and shouted to my husband come and look its a MK 1..the look on his face said it all….he's a non beleiver  :cry:

You dont know how many times I have tried that, but every time I say I want a divorce he thinks I'm joking…
