MK1 2007 Kamei Boot Spolier!

Hi Guys

New around here just wanted to pop a quick question,

So i recently purchased a Kamei Boot Spoiler from a local car store however I seems to have these kind of clips which go onto the Rear windscreen rubber???
Somewhat of a L shaped kind of bracket which there after you screw the actual spoiler onto,

Anyone got advise as to how this works??
