Thanks for all your help.I now have peace of mind.I have changed the thermostat,I have flushed the system thoroughly.I have changed the coolant and have changed the fan switch.
it appears I no longer have a problem,because the fan only came on occasionally I presumed there was a problem.
thanks,every time i ask for help the owners club come up with an answer.

Another one of them replace all concerned parts and hope it sorts it ones… Had a few of those.
Glad to hear its mended..
