Removable towing eye for my cabby

Hi as some of you might know I am retro styling my 92 cabby and and as a result am faced with a horrible chunk of metal hanging out of the front panel calling its self a towing eye. My plan is to remove the offending part and install a thread that will take a more common treaded eye like this
 
The trouble I’m having is find a doner car to take the corresponding thread from ie the nut part. If anyone has access to an old scrapper they could butcher for me I would be very grateful
