If you have a plastic cover over the metal slide rail in the rear of the car by the tunnel for the exhaust remove those 1st then pull the front forward about 1/2 way and adjust the seat back so it's upright, you should see a nut and bolt in the middle of the seat base near the the centre slider, the handle has a bar going to it, remove this nut and bolt and slide the seat all the way back and the rear legs of the seat should come off the end of the metal slide rail lift the seat out of the car.
You can have problems with the carpet getting in the way in the rear and becareful of the plastic clips which slide along the metal rail, you can buy new ones if you do break them but if careful you should not need to.

What car you got?
Is it the black cabriolet in the picture?
If it is there will be a runner, that is what the seat slides along when you move it backwards and forwards.
To tilt the seat back up there is a round handle on the side which you turn to tilt the seat back up or down..
I you push the seat all the way back you will see the nut and bolt at the front of the seat (near the floor in the middle) as that is the only thing stopping the seat going all the way back and then out of the car.
You can see the seat runners and the front center runner in this picture, Its from a Mk1 Scirocco but your will be the same.

At the front base of the seat you should see a small metal springed lever if you like, which you can push/pull down which slides back & fore, there should be a nut & bolt holder which is connected to the floor, undo/remove this, then the seat can rise, remove the black side runner covers, slide the seat back & you should be able to lift it out... to put back in it's simply the reverse...

Remove the inner seat slide cover.
Remove the 10mm acorn nut on the front rail.
Pull the inside lever up to unlock, or pull the pin to the inside. left on the picture right on the seat or left depending on which seat you are removing.
Slide the seat to the rear to remove.
