Could anyone do a quick measure please
I'm speaking with a fella regarding a front spoiler lip he sells, the original non-gti type. He claims it's much longer than 120cm, which unleashes a mighty bulky goods fee. If anyone is in the garage and reading this, a quick measurement would be uber nice!!
i think the width of a mk1 is around 1600mm, so the spoiler should be quite shorter than that at least..
Many thanks

I just measured my 2-piece gti duckbill spoiler (off the car) and when it’s slotted together as it would be when fitted its 125cm across the tips. If your seller’s item is a 1 piece, like the carbon fibre ones on eBay then I it’ll be just too long - plus of course it will need careful packaging at the ends which will add a bit.
Hope this helps.

Hi, Thanks for measuring. I meant the stock non-gti spoiler, the small type that is in one piece. I just confirmed that it is 115cm long. Anyway the seller claimed it was 180cm long, wider than the car, and wanted an extra 30€ for the shipping. So the avoid-lamps started going off big time
