Flange Oil seal

Green seal carrier bent!!

Well I have found out my my my gearbox flange oil seal was leaking and it was because the seal itself was flat edged where something as obviously hit it.
The oil seal looks like the picture below but the green carrier which the oil seal fits in was also bent. Can I just bend this back with some water pump Pliers or will the entire career need to be replaced? If so how on earth does that it come out?

I would personally buy new.

What do Divorces, Great Coffee, and Car Electrics all have in common?

They all start with GOOD Grounds.

Where are my DIY Links?

You can get the housing so must be replaceable but never had to do it myself. Assuming its a FT fit like the green paint-tin-lid end cap?
