You cant beat the look of a nice clean white mk1!!
I think they both look good, but I would of kept it with the G60 steelies, as I think the car looks nice and standard, and I think it keeps with that look.
Whereas the deep dish steelies look good on modified mk1's
Stil the wheels can changed whenever you want, its all about the actual car, which is sweet!!!

Prefer it before. G60 steels on an otherwise standard looking Mk1 look great.
I do like the new wheels though - What are they? Banded? Where from…

I love the new wheels :y:
but I'd lower the car so the gap between the top of the tyre and the arch is the same as it was before…
I'm quite surprised not many other people like the new ones 8O

I like 'em.
One or two have mentioned the lack of other mods making them look out of place. Is this something you're looking to address, or are you happy with it as is?

All good guys! Cant be to everyones taste!
My personal opinion I just wanted something which gave a little wider stance, and keep everything else standard 8) I think the fact that they are steels and are very similar looking to the G60 steels keeps with the standard look I was trying to retain tbh
They're 7 & 8 by 13", et20 & et01. Tyres are 175/50 Dunlops
Cheers for all the comments good or bad

Personally mate, when it comes to mods, you can't beat deep dish fat euro style, spot on matey! just needs a slight downward nudge and she'd be perfect, I like your rear number plate to
