Anyone off to see the Stone Roses at Heaton Park this weekend? I've got tickets for the Sunday, little bit gutted as it's Plan B supporting. :eh:

I would've loved to have gone tonight and seen Primal Scream too.  :notworthy:

Maybe its an age thing? both Prof G and Plan B not my thing at all?

Not my thing either, the sound of Plan B's last album was pretty good but I think his voice is terrible. Perhaps it is an age thing, I'm 28 and I'm starting to feel old!

Hollie Cook on the Saturday night has a good sound, proper reggae/ska vibe.  8)

Well I am a mere youth at 49!! SR were bang on in my hedonistic late 80's-early90's along with the whole Madchester scene ,cannot wait for tomorrow and its going to rain all day and even that thought is not stopping me from smiling!!

GF is going…… she didn't get me a ticket so I made alternate arrangements to go to Stanford Hall on my own…. which didn't go down well!!!  :mrgreen:

Then I got offered a ticket!!! Oh, I'll put the album on in the car and cheer along!!!!

Im going on the sunday as well ! me and my cousin are camping out in my campervan ! cant wait

Bloody fantastic yes I got wet yes I got muddy and yes I had a grest time listening to a bloody great band Beady eye were ok and so were The Wailers

I was there on saturday. What a fantastic gig, I mean it really had an 'i was there when' feel to it. I saw them a few times back in the day and they never sounded this good.

The Wailers were a huge bonus too, thought they were excellent.

Seeing them this weekend at titp. Glad they put on a good show.

They were amazing mate, unbelievably good!  8)  :notworthy:

amazing night even the fireworks were good at the end cant wait to see them at v festival now
