Don't think they're either of those I'm afraid. The M3 mirrors have an extra connection to the mounting plate and the M5 mirrors are a different shape I think.

Apparently they're off the 993 and Audi RS2.

Now here's a very hopeful question….

Apparently these used to come from a company in France who's website no longer exists…. so, anyone any idea where you could get a set for the Mk1 or do you think I'd need to try and mod a set from the Audi/Porsche to fit?
