g60

hi, i have a friend who has just bought a mk1 gti minus the engine. the car is a minter inside and out apart from the engine. he wants to fit a g60 engine to finish it off. anyone on here know whats needed and who/where to get it done. any info would be helpful.

I'd advise getting a donor corrado G60 as the parts list is quite long and it'll take forever to fit if you need to get parts when you discover you lack it!

Many G60's have already had the chip / pulley done when you find a donor car but best to budget for a charger rebuild & Golf G60 FMIC just in case (ditch the rado one).
