Rear exhaust hanger strain

A petty problem but just wondering :
Does anyone elses exhaust put a LOT of strain on the last rubber hanger at the back? The exhaust just seems to want to sit a lot lower than the hanger does! It's almost too hard to push the exhaust up high enough to put the hanger on! Luckily the hangers still last a while despite the strain and only cost 70 ish pence each…but still.

If you undo the last clamp [before the back box] and with the hanger attached twist the box in to the position you want , then tighten the clamp it holds the back box in position . The weight is then correctly taken by the two support straps at the last section .

The hanger then just acts as a 'hanger' not a support . If you see what i mean

Cheers…………….

Try some genuine hangers from VW, they're dearer but better than the pattern ones.
