fuel line lengths & fittings.

can anybody tell me the correct length and fittings needed to make up a set of feed and return petrol pipe  for a stanard gti (presume 1800 & 1600) ?
 i know you can buy them from crazyquif, i have done so in the past, top quality item, but one of the sponsors of my sons ice-hockey team  makes hoses ect.  and has offered to make me a set up really cheap in either solid plastic, or rubber braided as a favour so i won't be going into mass production . crazyquiff can you help ? or anybody cheers jim.

One word of warning is that whatever material you use make sure it is approved for use with unleaded petrol.  Most rubbers/ plastics will perish and leak when in contact with unleaded.
