Ok so i removed the fuel filler neck today to clean up the inner arch and boy was it worth it, i found alot of rot, got rid of it, rust treated it, then i cleaned the filler neck pipe, sorted. So i thought ok job done time to refit the filler neck but the damn thing won't go in, it's at such a wierd angle it just wont go in the flex hose, wth do i do? any tips?

Attach the flexy hose to the tank 1st, then push fillerneck onto hose and twist slighty so you can the holes alligned, pretty easy really fella, this is how i did it when i fitted a new filller neck and pipe

Also to ease it into the pipe, wet your finger and run it round the inside of the rubber hose and do the same with the end of the filler pipe. The tiny amount of moisture won't do any harm to your petrol and it worked for me!
